Charlie Stillwell
Head Coach

This is Charlie's 24th year as head coach of the Archbishop Wood Boys and Girls swim team. Charlie was and assistant coach with Wood in 1996 before taking over as head coach and was an assistant coach with the Wood girls team in 1984 and 1985. His swimming career began as a freshman where he swam for Archbishop Wood, making All-Catholic his last three years on the team, where he was a Co-Captain his Senior year. He went on the swim in college at the University of Maryland where he set school records in the 100 Breaststroke and 400 Medley Relay his Junior year. Charlie currently works in the computer industry as a system administrator.

Kim Higginson
Assistant Coach

Kim is in her fifth year as a coach for Wood this year and brings a wealth of experience. Kim has a masters in education and teaches at Nativity of Our Lord. Kim has been coaching for over 10 years and was head coach for Archbishop Carroll High School for 2 years. Kim is also a Lifeguard Instructor.

Ian Mee
Assistant Coach

Ian is in his fifth year as an assistant coach. Ian swam for Wood and graduated in 2011. He graduated from Temple with a degree in Physical Therapy where he swam for the Temple club swim team. Ian brings a very enthaustic attitude to our team. Ian is currently working on his Docturate degree at University of the Sciences.

Brendon McGhee
Assistant Coach

Brendon is in his second year as a coach for Wood. Brendon swam for the team from 2002 thru 2006. He has coached at the Hatboro YMCA and Tri-Hampton YMCA before joining our team. He currently runs the McGhee Funeral home in Southampton. Brendon will emphasize the small details that make our swimmers better. Welcome to the team.
