This is will be Charlie's 27th year as coach of the Archbishop
Wood Boys and Girls swim team. Charlie was and assistant coach with Wood in
1996 before taking over as head coach and was an assistant coach with the
Wood girls team in 1984 and 1985. He is semi-retired and helping as an assistant coach for his second year. His swimming career began as a freshman
where he swam for Archbishop Wood, making All-Catholic his last three years
on the team, where he was a Co-Captain his Senior year. He went on the swim
in college at the University of Maryland where he set school records in the
100 Breaststroke and 400 Medley Relay his Junior year. Charlie currently works
in the computer industry as a system administrator. He continues his swimming career by partipating US Masters meets and swimming almost everyday. |
